T.E.A.M. DYNAMICS

  • by

T.E.A.M. Dynamics highlights the unique personality profile of every individual.  It does not ‘label’ people, rather it liberates them to an increased awareness of their own strengths and challenges.  T.E.A.M. Dynamics is an effective team building experience, raising students’ awareness of the diversity within personalities and the power of discovering ways to foster healthy diversity within any team.  This program helps students to look inward first at themselves, their own strengths and weaknesses, then to apply that process to the group as a whole, therefore generating a greater cohesion, team spirit and cooperation.

T.E.A.M. Dynamics equips and empowers students with the following learning goals and outcomes…

  • Identifying each individual’s and collective personality trends and patterns
  • Analysing the strengths and challenges of each trend
  • Discovering the value of the unique diversity within the group
  • Exploring how to accommodate each personality and maintain cohesiveness within the group
  • Creating realistic and practical methods to motivate each trend into action
  • Discovering the value and impact of the collective strength of the group

As per Personal and Social Capabilities in the Australian National Curriculum, students are invited to assess their strengths and challenges; reflect on feedback from peers, teachers and other adults, to analyse personal characteristics and skill set that contribute to or limit their personal and social capability; identify the skills needed to manage different types of relationships; critique their ability to devise and enact strategies for working in diverse teams, drawing on the skills and contributions of team members; generate, apply and evaluate strategies to prevent and resolve interpersonal problems and conflicts.
