Recent studies in Emotional Intelligence (EQ) by Daniel Goleman and others have demonstrated that Emotional Intelligence is a far greater predictor of success in the workplace and in life in general.

 It is at this point that Peer Power identifies the need to offer The ARROW Program.  It is an emotional skills acquisition program empowering young people with an awareness of their unique diversity, their multiplicity of intelligences beyond IQ and the means to learn and apply the necessary skills to handle life’s conflicts and ups and downs. 

This workshop explores and identifies the predominant personality trends that are represented within each individual.  This information then becomes the platform to create a powerful bank of practical ideas on:

* Recognising the value of diversity and unity within staff groups.

* Dealing with the individual student learning styles.

* Mechanisms to motivate students and identify effective learning environments

‘Respect Workshop’ is all about understanding Respect and developing practical skills in Generating Respect and Managing Disrespect between staff to staff and staff to students.

This seminar is a culmination of years of actual experience of teaching and counselling.  What you have here is an outline of tried and tested practical ways of developing respect and managing disrespect with young people from an empathic understanding of each person’s unique personality style.
